Flight autopilot

An autonomous flight controller for a flying wing, on a low-cost onboard computer.

Instead of an expensive proprietary flight controller, the aircraft flies with a generic, low-cost onboard computer that reads its orientation sensors and drives the control surfaces.

The hard part is the low-level integration between hardware and flight software: tuning the sensors and stabilization so an autopilot meant for dedicated units flies on generic hardware.
